Hundreds of “Barbies” (and the entire East Coast viewing audience…) gathered at Central Park’s Rumsey Field got more than they bargained for when the “Roman’s Revenge” hitmaker’s tata made an impromptu cameo mid-song.

Lady Gaga made a surprise entrance on Good Morning America Friday; the “Born This Way” hitmaker ziplined onstage at Central Park this morning, kicking off the breakfast show’s 2011 Summer Concert Series. Wearing a long, bright red wig and a red and white costume, the outlandish songstress wowed a record-setting number of screaming “Little Monsters” with a sizzling live set that included numbers like “Bad Romance,” “Hair,” and “Born This Way,” the title track from her titanic new album.
Born This Way has sold nearly 800,000 copies and topped iTunes and Billboard music charts since its release on May 23.
Another summer of music and melody is headed for Manhattan’s Central Park, and Lady Gaga is leading the charge. Good Morning America revealed the lineup for its annual Summer Concert Series on Wednesday. This year’s series kicks off May 27, with a live outdoor set featuring the “Born This Way” hitmaker.
Chris Brown’s backstage melee is going to set Good Morning America back about two thousand smacks. The bill is due for the window the R&B crooner has since apologized for smashing during a fit of rage following a particularly tense interview on the ABC morning gabfest last week.
