Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden is working on a book.

“I’m lightly working on one,” the 30-year-old rocker revealed in an interview with PEOPLE during the Hollywood Stars Celebrity Softball game at Dodger Stadium on Saturday.

“It would be about my life,” Joel explains. “It would be about, mostly, the big changes in my life: Kids, relationships, moving to L.A…the big life changes that I’ve gone through.”

The longtime beau of Nicole Richie and soon-to-be father of two says that alhough the project is in it’s early stages, his memoir is unfolding nicely.

“I don’t want to put a book out there if it’s not actually meaningful. I’m not going to go there unless I can deliver.”

In terse entry on her official blog Monday, singing star Katy Perry shot down rumors that she is dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.

On Sunday, PEOPLE Magazine claimed the singer, who recently ended a lenghty romance with Travis McCoy of the Gym Class Heroes, was spotted in Las Vegas nightclub on Valentine’s night “cuddling” with Benji.

Katy writes of the rumors:

Oh dear. Home decor is going to be a problem if Paris Hilton and Benji Madden ever move in together. The odd couple hit a bump in the road recently after the heiress insisted on redecorating Benji’s gothic Glendale, California mansion.

“Benji has this fascination with vampires, and has this gothic memorabilia throughout his house,” a Paris pal tells Star. “He thinks it’s very artistic, but Paris doesn’t like it. It scared her.”

Replacing the faux vampires with fresh vases of flowers, Paris decided to give Benji’s bachelor pad a complete makeover.

“She wanted to surprise Benji-and she sure did! He was mortified!”

Benji had Paris change everything back.

Benji Madden is upset by all the male attention Paris Hilton receives, a new tabloid report claims.

The Good Charlotte guitarist is particularly annoyed by rumors that the hotel heiress is spending lots of time with MySpace mogul Chris DeWolfe.

“He was really fed up about this, but his attitude is, good riddance to her if she has really cheated on him.”

Benji Madden’s Good Charlotte bandmates have had just about enough of the guitarist’s nauseating relationship with hotel heiress Paris Hilton. Despite her best efforts to fit in with the band’s makeshift family during a recent tour with the musicians, Paris’ pushiness and “public displays of affection with Benji on the Good Charlotte tour bus” has left the band hoping the lovers will soon take an extended vacation from one another, a new celebrity weekly report claims.

“Paris is desperately trying to fit in with the band, but she has outstayed her welcome. Everyone is hoping he’ll wake up soon and dump her.”

Paris Hilton is none too pleased that DUI-driving actress Mischa Barton has invaded her UK tour with boyfriend Benji Madden’s band Good Charlotte. Mischa, a native of Britain, will join Paris in the gang in the UK in support of her beau Taylor Rocke who plays with LA band Rooney, who is opening for Good Charlotte. The blondes can’t stand the sight of each other and have clashed in what one tabloid calls a “full-on war.”

Paris Hilton is preparing to go on the road with her new boyfriend Benji Madden’s band Good Charlotte.

She tells People Magazine: “We’re actually leaving in a couple days for South Africa, so I’ll be with him. I’m just happy to be together, so no matter where we are, we’ll have a great time.”

Paris and Benji have been dating for just over a month.

Good Charlotte rockers Joel and Benji Madden will appear on an upcoming episode of MTV’s The Hills. Audrina Patridge revealed that the two recently shot an appearance on the MTV reality hit during the opening of Benji and Joel’s new DCMA Collective clothing store in Los Angeles on Friday night. “I can’t talk about what,” Audrina said when asked to specify on the Madden Brothers’ appearance.
