It’s been a while since we heard anything new from pop rockers Good Charlotte. But just in time for fall, the boys are back, led by twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden, and doing what bands do best — partying with scantily-clad women in the newly-released video promo for their comeback single, “Like It’s Her Birthday.”
The party-starter is the lead single from Good Charlotte’s upcoming fifth studio album Cardiology, due Nov. 2.
“It was actually the easiest video we ever made,” Joel Tweeted on Monday. “We just showed up partied.”
Good Charlotte brothers Benji and Joel Madden are going Down Under to act as mentors and guest judges on an episode of Australian Idol set to air on November 1.
Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden is working on a book.
“I’m lightly working on one,” the 30-year-old rocker revealed in an interview with PEOPLE during the Hollywood Stars Celebrity Softball game at Dodger Stadium on Saturday.
“It would be about my life,” Joel explains. “It would be about, mostly, the big changes in my life: Kids, relationships, moving to L.A…the big life changes that I’ve gone through.”
The longtime beau of Nicole Richie and soon-to-be father of two says that alhough the project is in it’s early stages, his memoir is unfolding nicely.
“I don’t want to put a book out there if it’s not actually meaningful. I’m not going to go there unless I can deliver.”
