He was turned in a by a bathroom attendant who moonlights as a police informant. George was released by police after being cautioned for possession of a class A drug and a class C substance.

This isn’t George’s first run-in with the law after a trip to the nearest loo. As you may recall, he was forced to disclose his homosexuality iafter he was arrested for engaging in a lewd act in Beverly Hills in 1998.

Eighties pop star George Michael will perform on tonight’s Season Finale of American Idol 7, show producers confirmed late Wednesday. The former Wham singer will join a scheduled list of finale performers that already includes the 2008 American Idol Top Ten and American Idol 4 champ Carrie Underwood, who will perform her latest single “Last Name.”

George Michael will embark on his first U.S. tour in seventeen years later this year. The 25 Live Tour will begin this Summer.

George’s new album Twenty-Five is set for an April 1st release. A companion 2-disc DVD set of videos will also be released.

George Michael will unleash all of the skeltons in his closet in an upcoming autobiography tell-all. The Wham star has signed a multimillion-dollar deal to pen a “no-holds-barred” autobiography, HarperCollins Publishing announced on Wednesday.

Michael’s manager Andy Stephens said: “George has promised HarperCollins a no-holds-barred biography, and it’s certain to be just that.”

“People aren’t stupid, they’re beginning to notice that the truth is more interesting than the stories the press come up with.”

The book, dubbed “one of the hottest remaining untold celebrity memoirs”, will cover the pop star’s personal and professional life and will hit the shelves in Fall 2009.

Wham legend George Michael is reportedly refusing to undergo an HIV test because he’s afraid he may be infected. The gay singer revealed he has not had a test in over three years.
