For 7 seasons fans of Gene Simmons and wife Shannon Tweed have followed their every move, via their A&E reality series, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels. Now the netowkr has decided to cut ties with Gene and the family, making way for several new reality series.
“For seven great seasons, Gene, Shannon, Nick and Sophie have been part of the A&E family, and we could not be more proud of the unparalleled run of Gene Simmons Family Jewels,” a statement from the network read. “On behalf of everyone at A&E, we’d like to thank the production team at Thinkfactory Media, Gene and his amazing family for their partnership, collaboration and for opening up their lives, warts-and-all, to us throughout the years.”

Who says KISS bassist Gene Simmons, 62, isn’t “The Marrying Kind?” It took him a while, but the notorious Ladies Man finally (emphasis on this) made an “Honest Woman” out of his partner of almost 30 years, model Shannon Tweed, 54.

KISS bassist Gene Simmons, 61, was hospitalized at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood on Sunday after he fainted and suffered a minor injury at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) over the weekend. Upon further investigation, doctors diagnosed Simmons with dehydration. He suffered a minor cut to his head and was kept overnight for observation.
It’s been an eventful few weeks for Gene. The classic rocker has been the subject of online hackers since taking up a public crusade against piracy.
