Last month, Atlanta stripper Nicole Forrester claimed she was intimate with Josh, 37, after he turned up at the club she worked at while in town shooting a movie. It is a allegation Josh categorically denies. For her part, Terri Jackson is convinced her daughter and son-in-low will survive the “absurd” rumors.

“My daughter’s life is amazing and Josh is a great guy – that story is bullshit as far as I’m concerned,” she told RadarOnline.com. “It was totally ridiculous and absurd and I’m confident their marriage will weather the media storm. But it’s not my place to talk about my daughter’s private life, so, if you need specifics then you will have to ask her questions in person.”

“I thought, ‘Nobody’s gonna find out. It’s not gonna hurt anybody,’” Nicole cries. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I didn’t think of it at the time like I think of it now.”

The 34-year-old single mother of two says she slept with Duhamel, 37, while he was filming Live As We Know It in her hometown of Atlanta over the summer. Despite the fallout from their affair, Nicole alleges that Josh has texted her as recently as this week. Josh wed Fergie last January after more than four years of dating.

In an one-on-one interview with Extra, airing this evening, Nicole fumes over being labeled a “homewrecker” by the razor-tongued public.

“She’s standing by her man, so obviously I’m not wrecking the home too bad, huh?” she says.

“At that stage of my life, I don’t think I would have thought that about anybody,” she said of meeting her future husband on the set of his show, Las Vegas. “I’d made my list of qualities that I wanted, and you can’t just find out if somebody has those in a week. You have to see somebody’s character. It was learning what he was made of that made me fall in love with him.”

Fergie added that Josh loves the 17 pounds she gained to play the role of Saraghina in the movie musical Nine.

“When I came home from filming, he was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomach when that’s there. He always gives me compliments. He’s never been critical.”

“This is not the first nor will it be the last time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity,” a rep for Josh told People, referring to the claims made by busted butterface Nicole Forrester in a recent story in the tabloid The National Enquirer. “This story is absolutely ridiculous.”

Nicole, an Atlanta stripper known as “Delilah,” told The Enquirer that she enjoyed a one-night with Duhamel — who wed his pop star spouse in a ceremony last January — when he was in Atlanta earlier this month filming Life As We Know It.

A lawyer for Forrester — a 34-year-old mother of two — says she passed a lie detector test to prove the one-night stand happened. Attorney Romin Alavi tells Us Weekly, “Josh bragged about what happened on the set of his movie [Life As We Know It], and someone called The Enquirer with the tip. The Enquirer then came to Nicole.”

During an interview with Q100’s Bert Show in Atlanta, Nicole claimed she has sex with the actor a week after he came to the Tattletales Club in the southern city, where she dances. “We did hook up and had lots of sex and we had a really, really good time,” she claimed during the interview.

Nicole sold her story to The National Enquirer for $20,000. She also said she has text messages and polygraph test results to back up her claims.

Tattletales? Lordy…

Nicole — a divorced mother of two who works the pole under the name “Delilah” — claims Josh was in Hotlanta filming the romantic comedy Life As We Know It when he invited her to his $820-a-night hotel room at the St. Regis for sex just days after meeting.

After more than three years of dating, Josh and Fergie tied the knot in January 2009.

Last year, director Rob Marshall asked the Black Eyed Peas songstress to gain weight in order to play the part of Saraghina, a prostitute, in the movie which is due to hit movie theaters in November. Ferg says gaining 17 pounds for Nine allowed her to order lots of foods that were “fried and full of fat” — and she did it with the help of Oscar-winning co-star Penelope Cruz.

“We were eating our brains out,” Fergie told Allure.

Fergie sees a therapist after every time she drinks alcohol.

The Black Eyed Peas star – who has previously battled a nearly fatal addiction to crystal meth- always seeks professional help after a big night out.
