Britney Spears has become such a big fan of television’s animated hit Family Guy that she has been wandering around L.A.’s Mondrian Hotel copying baby Stewie’s English accent.

“Britney has developed a real fascination for Family Guy. She’s been staying in the hotel’s penthouse suite and has been watching the box sets,” a source told The Mirror this week. “She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent. It’s a bit weird, especially when she’s in the gym and speaking like a camp Brit.”
Let’s hope the singer isn’t on the verge of another breakdown. The last time Britney faked an accent was just weeks before her stay in the Cedars-Sinai psych ward!

Christmas has come early for Family Guy fans: Here’s a trailer for the show’s new Star Wars special.
Family Guy’s first Star Wars spoof (”Blue Harvest“) earned the FOX comedy an Emmy nomination, now Peter, Stewie, and the rest of gang are back for more sci-fi fun in “Something, Something, Something Dark Side,” coming to DVD and iTunes Dec. 22.
According to 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment: “The saga continues as Luke (Chris), Leia (Lois), Han Solo (Peter) and Chewbacca (Brian) have evaded the dreaded Imperial Starfleet led by the cunning, conniving and curiously short evil lord Darth Vader (Stewie), setting up a new secret base on the remote ice world of Hoth. With the rebellion in trouble, young Skywalker must take the advice of his late, and rather lascivious, mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert) and learn the ways of the “farce” under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl) to save the galaxy once and for all.”

Elementary, My Dear Watson: Sherlock Holmes has stepped up to sponsor next Sunday’s Family Guy special.
The upcoming Warner Bros. film will be the sole sponsor of Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show. Last week, Microsoft abruptly backed out as sponsor of the half-hour comedy-variety program, amid complaints of offensive themes and language. A sneak preview from the December release, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, will air during the broadcast.
