Add Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz to the burgeoning list of celebrities with an impending fashion line. Pete has teamed up with high-end retailer Nordstrom to design an exclusive junior sportswear line comprised of graphic T-shirts, hoodies, denim jeans, and other “emo-style” accessories. Pete’s line of fashions will debut exclusive at Nordstrom in April.
Fall Out Boy has recorded a cover of Michael Jackson’s 1983 hit “Beat It” for their new album, strangely titled “****.” The track will included a cameo performance by an unidentified “special guest guitarist.” The band’s new release will be available in CD/DVD or Single DVD format, and is set to include all eight Fall Out Boy music videos and exclusive Behind-The-Scenes footage with the band. (What the Flying Fig Newton kind of title is “****” for an album? Fall Out Boy rockers Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump have announced their plans to endorse Barack Obama for Commander-in-Chief. Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz is featured on the February 2008 cover of CosmoGirl Magazine. “Girls Don’t Have To Cake On Makeup To Be Hot,” the mascara and eye liner-wearing bassist tells the teen mag. Apparently, “boys” are another story.
Fall Out Boy has joined the latest crop of modern day musicians who have decided to butch a classic cut featured on Michael Jackson’s best-selling album, Thriller. As if Akon’s renedition of “Wanna Be Starting Something” wasn’t hideous enough.
Fall Out Boy has blamed everything short of Halley’s Comet for their failure to secure even a single Grammy Award nomination last week. Bassist Pete Wentz even bitterly blogged on the snub following the nominations announcement. But we are now hearing that the blame may lie solely on the shoulders of bassist Pete Wentz’s GF Ashlee Simpson. Spies close to the emo-rock group fear lip-synching Ashlee’s affiliation with Fall Out Boy has become bad for business. Read the rest of this entry »
