“I handled it pretty terribly for the first 48 hours, I mean, I quit my band and everything,” said speaking to MTV News on Tuesday.

“But then what I realized is that it’s not the worst thing on the planet that’s ever gonna happen. [I] apologized to my mum, realised that the best way to not have pictures on the internet is to never take the pictures at all,” Pete added.

“The bigger deal you make of it, and the more you try to prove that it wasn’t you or it was like this or that, the only people who are really going to know the story are, like, you and two other people… Let it go away.”

Emo-rocker Pete Wentz is trying his hand at the world of comic books, MTV News reported on Thursday. The Fall Out Boy bassist is collaborating with Los Angeles designer Darren Romanelli on a mini-series entitled Fall Out Toyworks. The five-issue collection will follow the adventures of what Pete describes as “a mysterious toymaker, a cyborg gal named Tiffy and a kid in a bear suit.”

“Me and Darren came up with the idea of creating … a world around [Fall Out Boy song] ‘Tiffany Blews,’” Pete told MTV. “It’s more than a comic too. In the end, it will be a graphic novel, clothing, Web site and possible toys themselves.”

The series will launch in September via publisher Image Comics.

Andy Hurley, Joe Trohman, singer Patrick Stump, and bassist Pete Wentz of the emo-rock band Fall Out Boy were the featured guests on NBC’s TODAY Summer Concert Series at Rockefeller Center on Friday, May 22.

Fall Out Boy are on the hunt for a new venue for their concert in Boca Raton, Florida this week after the emo-rock group was banned from performing in the city.

The band was all set to take the stage was due to take the stage at the Center for the Arts at Mizner Park Amphitheater as part of the “Believers Never Die Tour,” which also features All Time Low, Cobra Starship, and Metro Station, this Tuesday night, April 21, but bosses pulled the plug of the concert for undisclosed reasons earlier this week.

FOB bassist Pete Wentz posted on Twitter Friday: “Attention those going 2 (sic) Boca Raton show. The city has currently banned the Believers Never Die tour from coming. Working on a new venue.”

“We will make it there come hell or high water (no info on why we have been banned). There will be a show somehow.”

Pete Wentz, who is busy on tour with his emo-rock band Fall Out Boy, has taken to urinating in a series of bottles, scattering them around the stage, and trying to guess which ones are water and which are urine as he performs live.

Fall Out Boy will perform their rendition of The Simpsons theme song during the show’s ending credits this Sunday, Jan. 25.

FYI, the popular emo-rock band was named after the sidekick of Simpsons character “Radioactive Man.”

The rockers of Fall Out Boy are none to pleased with their buzzed-about cover story in the February 2009 issue of Blender, on newsstands January 13.

“The Blender article is pure bullshit,” FOB drummer Andy Hurley wrote on his Twitter account late Tuesday. “It’s sensationalist bullshit made up to sell a story. It’s [full of] out-of-context quotes.”
