The Cuban-American star –dressed just in a skimpy bra and panties — joins a scantily-clad male model in a controversial new Calvin Kleins. The billboard spans an entire block on Houston St. in the city’s trendy SoHo neighborhood and has many New Yorkers complaining that the image is borderline “pornography,” according to The New York Daily News.

Calvin Klein has a long history of advertisements — and so does Eva. The Hitch star appeared in a CK fragrance campaign that was pulled in the U.S. last year after censors ruled it was obscene.

Eva, a Los Angeles native, even offered to bring L.A. newcomer Conan along for a trip to her favorite Koreatown spa.

Joining the Cuban-American actress in the Autumn/Winter collection ad campaign is male model Jamie Dornan.

The bulked-up hunk was previously featured in two Calvin Klein Jeans advertising campaigns; alongside supermodel Natalia Vodianova in the Fall of 2004 and catwalk queen Kate Moss in the Fall of 2006.

“Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear are both such iconic American brands, that to play a part in these campaigns is a true honor,” Dornan says. “Working alongside the sensationally sexy Eva Mendes on both shoots was incredible.”

Eva Mendes, whose comic book thriller The Spirit opens in theaters this weekend, is featured on the January 2009 cover of Allure Magazine.

“I’m OK with being pigeonholed right now because I created most of it…,” she says. “If I don’t want to be offered sexy roles, then I shouldn’t be on a humongous billboard half-naked… But I want to be on that billboard… You can pigeonhole me now… But it won’t stay that way.”

On Monday, actress Eva Mendes joined The Early Show’s Julie Chen in a discussion about the big screen adaptation of the 1940’s comic series, The Spirit.

The Cuban-American actress reportedly counts hanging upside down as her most coveted beauty secret. The 34-year-old believes letting blood rush to her head will slow down the signs of aging.

“Whether it is a photo session or a hot date, Eva swears by hanging her head down on a slant board for about 20 minutes. Allowing blood flow to your upper body and face will bring on a vibrant, flushed-with-youth look,” a tattle tells the National Enquirer.

Eva Mendes has humped her way across America.

“I’ve had sex in all 50 states,” the Cuban actress, 34, has revealed. “A lot of it was on a road trip I took when I was younger.”

Don’t worry, Eva insists she didn’t have sex with 50 different men during her romp across country.

She says her best sexual experiences happened in Arizona and Colorado.

“Maybe it was the clean air,” Eva jokes.
