Mark David Barrett, a 47-year-old Chicago man accused of stalking ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews, will be arraigned Monday after his arrest last Friday on federal charges of videotaping a nude Andrews during her stays in various hotels across the United States.
ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has issued a statement thanking Assistant United States Attorney Wes Hsu and Special Agents for their “dedicated service” in arresting a reporter accused of filming the sports buff without her knowledge or consent on multiple occasions while she was staying in hotels around the country.

A Chicago-area man accused of taking nude videos of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews in a hotel room and then putting them on the Internet was arrested at Chicago’s O’Hare airport Friday night, the FBI said in a statement Saturday.
Erin Andrews will speak out about the recent nude footage taken of her that spread virally on the Internet during an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show later this month.
Erin, christened “America’s Sexiest Sportscaster” by Playboy Magazine in 2008, will chat with The Queen of Talk as part of The Oprah Winfrey Show’s “Summer Headlines” Special on Sept. 11.
The college football sideline reporter is heading back to ESPN this month. Thursday’s faceoff between North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina will mark Erin’s first sideline-reporting gig since she was mysteriously recorded walking in her hotel room in a five-minute so-called “naked peephole video” that swept the Net in July.
In the interview, Andrews tells Winfrey that having secretly videotaped nude footage of her distributed on the Internet was a “nightmare.”
“It’s really going to help me heal my wounds,” Erin told O of returning to work.
