It’s been a big summer for the kids of Saved by the Bell: An all grown-up Lark Voorhies will star in a VH1 reality soap (Miss You Much) premiering next month; Mark-Paul Gosselaar tied the knot for the second time over the weekend; and Elizabeth Berkley hit Twitter Monday to announce that she had recently given birth to her first child, a son named named Sky Cole Lauren.
“I’m so excited!” Former Saved by the Bell star Elizabeth Berkley is expecting. The Showgirls actress, who penned the 2010 advice tome Ask Elizabeth, confirmed news of her pregnancy after pictures surfaced online showing the mommy-to-be sporting a spankin’ new baby bump.
Television personality Elizabeth Berkley is the latest celebrity proudly professing her status as a soap fan in this new promo for ABC’s One Life To Live. Earlier this month, former Spice Girl Mel B appeared in commercial prompting fans to tune into her favorite Emmy-winning daytime drama All My Children.
MTV and “Bayside High” alum Elizabeth Berkley are developing a new reality show centered around organizing self-esteem workshops for teen girls.
“She does these workshops around the country with teen girls and gets them to really open up about their issues, like self-esteem and body issues,” MTV’s vice president of development News & Documentaries told The Hollywood Reporter Friday. “We had been looking for a program that tackled the same issues, so it seemed like a perfect match.”
Elizabeth Berkley, best known for her role as “Jessica ‘Jessie’ Spano” on the 80s teen comedy Saved By The Bell, will appear in a multi-episode guest spot on the Showtime drama The L Word later this year.
The Showgirls star will play the straight college crush to Jennifer Beal’s character, Entertainment Weekly reports.
