“Saved by the Bell” Star Elizabeth Berkley Gives Birth to Son

It’s been a big summer for the kids of Saved by the Bell: An all grown-up Lark Voorhies will star in a VH1 reality soap (Miss You Much) premiering next month; Mark-Paul Gosselaar tied the knot for the second time over the weekend; and Elizabeth Berkley hit Twitter Monday to announce that she had recently given birth to her first child, a son named named Sky Cole Lauren.

MTV Elizabeth Berkley Reality Show Teen Girl Self-Esteem Workshops

MTV and “Bayside High” alum Elizabeth Berkley are developing a new reality show centered around organizing self-esteem workshops for teen girls.

“She does these workshops around the country with teen girls and gets them to really open up about their issues, like self-esteem and body issues,” MTV’s vice president of development News & Documentaries told The Hollywood Reporter Friday. “We had been looking for a program that tackled the same issues, so it seemed like a perfect match.”

Elizabeth Berkley “The L Word” Guest Appearance

Elizabeth Berkley, best known for her role as “Jessica ‘Jessie’ Spano” on the 80s teen comedy Saved By The Bell, will appear in a multi-episode guest spot on the Showtime drama The L Word later this year.

The Showgirls star will play the straight college crush to Jennifer Beal’s character, Entertainment Weekly reports.
