Since the birth of Shiloh Nouvel, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter together, Jolie has been decidedly casual about going back to work. Now however, she will take on her first acting role since the birth – as an animated character in the upcoming DreamWorks production, Kung Fu Panda
Due for release next May, Jolie will play the role of Tigress who is responsible for teaching martial arts to Po the Panda, voiced by Jack Black. This will be Black’s and Jolie’s second animated feature together since Shark Tale two years ago.
What’s next for Jolie? Catch her playing opposite Robert De Niro and Matt Damon in this December’s flick, The Good Shepherd.

Funny as the idea of an abusive super model is, I’m even more amused by the scene the maid’s claim paints. Campbell didn’t throw a phone as her, but hit her with it.

55 years old, soap opera star Benjamin Hendrickson died over the weekend in Huntington, N.Y. Reportedly, he committed suicide with a gunshot wound to the head.
The popular star played Police Chief Hal Munson on As the World Turns Apparently, Hendrickson had been suffering from depression since 2003, the year he lost his mother from cancer. Oddly enough, this was the same year he won a Daytime Emmy for his role on the popular soap.
“He was a marvelous and gifted man,” Ellen Dolan, his costar, said. “I am just heartbroken.”

“If I’m not going to push it, then who’s going to push it?”
This is the latest tidbit of wisdom to come to us from entertainer Justin Timberlake. In the quote, Timberlake is referring to his effort to “push the the sound of pop music” on his new album. Apparently, pushing the sound of pop music equals less singing in falsetto and more electronic, heavy bass lines. (Read the full story at Yahoo News.)
Timberlake talks about this so-called mission as if he’s aiming to cure cancer, but don’t worry, the former member of ‘NSync isn’t getting too full of himself. He leaves us with this, another gem of a quote:
“I think that you guys definitely want a new king of pop, you definitely want one and I’m probably not the only one who you might be thinking of. I don’t want it. I want to do what I do,” he said.
Nicky Hilton, 22, of the famed Hilton family plans to open her own hotel in November.
Coined the “Nicky O,” Hilton’s plans include renovating two buildings on Ocean Boulevard in Miami to create a hot nightspot for the Miami party crowd. She also plans to build a second hotel on Chicago’s Printer’s Row shortly thereafter.
“I know a good hotel when I see one,” she says. “I’ve been around hotels my whole life.”
While the Miami location will definitely be a party destination, Hilton plans on her Chicago hotel being decidedly more low-key. According to AOL News, Hilton has always wanted to create her own hotel chain.

North Korea announced a scientific breakthrough Friday, and it had nothing to do with the missile tests that startled the world this week. Researchers developed a new cosmetic agent to make skin supple, state-run media boasted.
“They analyzed in a scientific way why the hand skin of those who are making bean paste is smooth and fair,” state news agency KCNA reported. Armed with the data, scientists made an agent that helps fight wrinkles and lightens moles and freckles, it said.
Bean paste is a staple of Korean cooking, and the North Korean scientists who designed the cosmetic agent might be onto something because beans are used in some skin care products around the world.
However, few North Koreans other than the elite get enough to eat — let alone have the income to splurge on beauty products.
