We hear the primetime soap’s resident ladies man is going to be locking lips with another man on an episode of the hit CW series this season.

Ironically, British actor Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck on the show, has long been the subject of same-sex romance rumors.

According to Entertainment Weekly’s small screen snitch Michael Ausiello, in episode 6 of the upcoming third season, Leighton Meester’s Blair convinces her dashing BF to seduce New York University’s Head of Freshman Affairs (played by up-and-coming actor Neal Bledsoe) to help her receive the honor of delivering the freshmen speech.

Chuck’s sudden switch in sexuality won’t come as a surprise to longtime readers of Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl literary series. Throughout the books, the trysexual Chuck romances a number of men and women.

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has filmed a guest appearance for the upcoming season of the Showtime comedy, Californication.

The actor, who plays rich baddie Chuck Bass on the cult CW series, will star as Balt, a vampire-obsessed student of Hank’s (David Duchovny) on an episode airing later this year, Entertainment Weekly reports.

He adds, “Maybe you can pass the word on to anybody who reads these sites or who sees their kids on them that most of the time these people are making stuff up. If people want to really know what’s up with me then they can read one of my interviews!”

“I’m always going to go out and do what I want to do. I don’t think it pays to close yourself off,” Ed says.

“You see situations with certain people where it has literally become a frenzy. You look at people like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – people start to forget they are professional actors.”

After more than two years under the same roof, the end of the road is near for one celebrity “bromance.” Chace Crawford is moving out of the New York City apartment he shares with his Gossip Girl co-star Ed Westwick.

The bachelors, who have dodged gay rumors since they first began sharing an apartment in Manhattan’s Chelsea district in 2007, will soon end their living arrangement so that Chace, 23, can rent a place with a bit more privacy from his 21-year-old pal.

Chace is hunting for properties “downtown, in a secure building with a doorman,” a souce tells The New York Post.

“Chace wants to move out to a bachelor pad. He wants privacy and has told his agent to spare no expense in finding the perfect loft.”

Ed Westwick’s hard partying is beginning to show on his waistline, and that could spell big trouble for the young actor’s contract with the CW’s cult favorite Gossip Girl, In Touch Weekly has revealed.

“Ed has been gaining a lot of weight — not just around the waist, but throughout his whole body,” an on-set source spills in the April 20 edition of the tab. “First, the costume department had to buy him new, bigger pants. Then, his shirts and jackets got way too snug. The costumers even requested that producers talk to Ed — they don’t want Chuck to be fat!”

According to a NY Daily News tattle, two of television’s favorite Upper Eastsiders are so busy filming their hit CW series, their Chelsea apartment is repugnant.

“It stinks!” an insider screeched. “Those boys are slovenly and have garbage and clothes everywhere. You’d think they were living in a frat house!”
