Doug Reinhardt’s got a thing for leggy ladies with a knack for swinging on poles. The ex-Hills star — who called it quits with heiress Paris Hilton just last month — has been secretly hooking up with Miss USA Rima Fakih, celebrity informants squeal.

“They met through friends and have been talking and seeing each other. He flew to NYC to do press [for his new show, The Reinhardts: Family Comes First], but knew she would be here and they would get together,” a tipster told Us Weekly Thursday. “She’s flying to L.A. to see him next week. It’s very new, but they’re having a good time. She made him watch the Miss USA pageant. He isn’t jumping into anything. He’s enjoying everything he’s got going on right now.”

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, socialite Paris Hilton has reportedly called time on her 14-month romance with former Hills star Doug Reinhardt — despite speculation that the pair were planning to wed.

Several television network executives have rejected Hilton’s pitch to launch a new reality show following her engagement and wedding to boyfriend and former Hills star Doug Reinhardt, industry insiders say.

“She’s been on TV constantly since 2003, when ‘The Simple Life’ debuted, and the public may be saturated with Paris,” The New York Post’s Page Six Column quoted a source as saying.

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Hilton, 29, has denied plans that there are plans for any such show.

A Los Angeles real estate developer has filed suit against Paris Hilton’s baseball-sluggin’ BF Doug Reinhardt and MTV for damage Reinhardt allegedly caused to a home he rented will appearing on the MTV docusoap The Hills.
