Pop queen Madonna and Italian fashionistos Dolce & Gabbana have joined forces on a new collection of sunglasses called MDG.

“We’re so excited,” Gabbana told Women’s Wear Daily Monday. “This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. She is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception.”

The usually-glamourous Madonna takes up the role of simple housewife in a new series of ads promoting Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
In the new D&G ad campaign, The Queen of Pop is seen preparing vegetables and tucking into a plate of pasta with her hands, and sitting on top of a kitchen work surface. The images — inspired by Italy’s neorealism cinema — and featured in this month’s Vanity Fair Italy, which has a preview of the fashion label’s latest collection.
Is The Queen of Pop the ultimate fashion muse? Having worked with everyone from Gaultier to Louis Vuitton, Madonna is adding another high-fashion campaign to her resume. Madonna will front the Spring/Summer 2010 Dolce & Gabbana promo campaign.

Naomi Campbell has stripped off to promote the latest perfume from Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana.
The supermodel is the face of one of five different flavors of D&G’s new fragrance- 3 L’Imperatrice, which smells of watermelon, kiwi, pink cyclamen, and musk.

Jesus Luz, the 22-year-old Brazilian Buss It Baby of pop star Madonna, stars alongside Eva Herzigova and several other male models in a boxing-inspired ad for Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn/Winter collection.
The campaign — shot by fashion photog Steven Klein and inspired by the 1960 Italian movie ‘Rocco e I Suoi Fratelli’, about a family torn apart by love, — was set in historic Brooklyn boxing gym Gleason’s Gym, where power punchers Mohammad Ali and Mike Tyson once trained.
The advert will be featured in magazines in Italy, Britain, France, Germany and Spain later this month.
