The estate of DJ AM — real name Adam Goldstein — have amended the late star’s multimillion lawsuit against several companies over the 2008 plane crash that left him badly burned and hospitalized to include an allegation of wrongful death, according to reports on Friday.
Goldstein’s mother, Andrea Gross, and his sister, Lara Long, claim the trauma from the September 2008 crash led to Adam’s fatal overdose last August. “The crash ultimately caused Adam Goldstein’s death at a later date,” the papers state.

The estate claims they have suffered numerous damages from DJ AM’s death including the “loss of the future contributions” from the celebrity spinner and “the loss of the decedent’s love, companionship, comfort, affection, society, solace and moral support.” They also claim they have “suffered mental shock and… wounded feelings, grief and sorrow.”
Hundreds of shoes from the sneaker collection of the late DJ AM will hit the online auction block for charity next week.

More than 800 pairs of sneakers once belonging to the star will be up for grabs on eBay.com beginning Nov. 15. The auction, which kicks off on eBay @ 4:30 PST this Sunday, will give 100 percent of the proceeds to the DJ AM Memorial Fund, which will distribute them to organizations and projects, which deal with recovery.
