Up will make history when it becomes the first animated feature to open the Cannes Film Festival in France this May.
Up premieres in theaters May 29.

Miley Cyrus isn’t looking to part company with her on screen alter ego. In this week’s edition of Billboard, the 16-year-old star sounds off on rumors that she’s ready to break free of her breakout role as Disney’s “Hannah Montana” after three successful seasons on the series.
“This movie was never meant to be the end of Hannah Montana.”
“The thing is, a lot of people put where the show’s future lays in my hands – and it’s not up to me. It’s up to Disney and whether they want more episodes, and we hope that they do.”
Hannah Montana: The Movie opens in theaters everywhere April 10.
This spring, Disney/Pixar’s Up will become the first animated film to ever open the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
