This week, Miley Cyrus became the youngest musician to ever amass three #1 albums on The Billboard 200.
At 16, the entertainment titan accomplishes the feat as the soundtrack to her Hannah Montana: The Movie climbs to #1 in its fourth week of release. Miley previously topped the chart with her albums Breakout and Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus.
Proving further proof that Hollywood has a new teen idol, Miley breaks a record set by Britney Spears, who was 19 when she landed her third #1 album, Britney, in 2001.

Disney star Miley Cyrus is begging parents Billy Ray and Tish to let her spend some of her hard-earned mega-millions on a new bike — a motorcycle that is!
Miley is lobbying the ‘rents in hopes of purchasing her very own Harley-Davidson, according to a scoop featured in the May 4 issue of The Globe.
So far, Billy Ray and Tish aren’t budging. Looks like Daddy’s little girl is losing her touch.
A tattle says: “Her parents told her there was no way they’d ever allow her to buy one because they’re too darn dangerous. Miley pleaded and promised she’d take lessons, then started crying hysterically, which usually forces Billy to give in to her. But this time he held his ground.”

Jamie Foxx may not be a fan, but the folks at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is recognizing Miley Cyrus for her kindness toward the chickens that were used during the filming of Hannah Montana: The Movie, which debuted No. 1 at the box office last weekend.
“Miley’s heart is as big as her smile,” says Dan Shannon, PETA’s assistant director of Youth Outreach and Campaigns. “We hope that her act of compassion will inspire her fans to be kind to animals too.”
The Disney actress/singer adopted a particularly special chicken to keep as a pet.
PETA sent Miley a framed Compassionate Citizen Award and card signed by their staff for her kindness toward the birds.

Despite being the studio’s reigning teen idol, Miley Cyrus isn’t a fan of Disney’s 1951 animated classic Alice In Wonderland.
“It’s such a perverted movie,” the Hannah Montana star says in the May 2009 issue of Teen Vogue. “It’s all about Ecstasy. I swear! Look it up online.”
The fantasy film–which was released several decades before ecstasy use became popular–is based on the 1865 book by Lewis Carroll.

Miley Cyrus has a fullproof way to ensure that any suitors will treat her well — going through their text messages.
During an appearance on The Tyra Banks Show, which will air on Friday, Miley says, “I go through their text (messages). I see if they’re nice to their mom, because if they’re mean to their mom they’re going to be mean to me.”
Well, she got the last part right.
Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana: The Movie opens in theaters Friday, April 10.

Selena Gomez took some time off from her smash Disney series, The Wizards of Waverly Place, to soak up the sun in Puerto Rico.
The 16-year-old brunette even posed for a few flicks, smiling alongside beaming fans as she cruised the beach….And someone repaid her by hitting the road with her Blackberry.
Bastards.
According to oceanUp, Selena updated her Twitter page late Thursday to announce that some had stolen the electronic device while she vacationed in the Caribbean.

Miley Cyrus has been selected as the first cover girl of the recently resurrected LIFE Magazine.
It’s been nearly a decade since the legendary photo mag disappeared from newsstands after over a century in print.
Earlier this week, LIFE returned as LIFE.com, an online-only entity, and their first official cover features pop sensation Miley Cyrus.
The Hannah Montana actress invited celebrity photographer and LIFE editor-at-large Jeff Vespa into her life for the exclusive new pictorial.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is fine with being a teen role model, but the teen refuses to be taken for an idol. Miley, who has been blasted in the media for a number of controversial photos and her relationship with a 20-year-old model, believes it is unfair for parents to look to her to raise their kids.
