Take a seat, digital! Disney returns to its 2D animation roots with the release of The Princess And The Frog. The fantasy fairytale features the voiceover work of Dreamgirls actress Anika Noni Rose and introduces the world to Disney’s first ever African-American princess.

Disney has selected Mandy Moore to voice the lead role in a new Digital 3D-animated musical inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rapunzel, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Disney’s Rapunzel Unbraided picks up several years after the princess with 70 feet of golden hair has been stolen from her parents’ castle as an infant and imprisoned. Now a teenager, Rapunzel escapes her Ivory Tower and goes on the run with a bandit as they are pursued by her captors.
