Dina Lohan will announce a new green toothbrush, called “The Aqua Freedom Green Lohan Brush” during a press conference in New York City this morning. The controversial stage mom will also announce her new role as spokesmodel for a new “Go Green New York” Initiative targeting local families.
The Lohan Toothbrush will go on sale at retailers across the country this May.

You knew it was only a matter of time before Mama Dina weighed in on Lindsay’s latest cry for attention. Lohan’s enabler mother Dina has backed her daughter’s multimillion dollar legal battle over an advertisement which allegedly used the actress’ name and poked fun at her well-documented history as an unstable druggie — branding the commercial “horrible” and “mean.”

Dreams of “Livin’ Lohan” in fabulous footwear are going up in smoke for Long Island’s most controversial mom. Last year, the Fashion World got a chuckle when Dina Lohan partnered with Long Island-based shoe company Lovemyshoes.com to create her own collection of footwear, appropriately dubbed Shoe-Han. Developments about the line have been sparse in recent months, but by all accounts the collection was still ready to roll on Mother’s Day 2010. That was until today….
On Wednesday, Love My Shoes released a statement, abruptly ending its partnership with the Lohan Family Matriarch due to the global economic downturn and “mood of today’s shoppers.” (That’s a new one….)
“Love My Shoes regrets to announce we are not moving forward with the Dina Lohan line of shoes at this time due to continued economic sluggishness and the prevalent mood of today’s shoppers. Love My Shoes and its President, Robert Yeganeh, wish Dina continued success in all her projects.”
Michael Lohan’s loose lips could land him behind bars. TMZ.com reports that a taped telephone conversation the ex-con had with ex-wife Dina Lohan was in violation of a court order. In 2005, Dina was granted a restraining order in Nassau County against Michael that prevented him from calling his estranged ex until 2011.One of the phone conversations Michael leaked to RadarOnline this week was recorded in 2008.
The controversial tapes confirmed previously rumored details about the couple’s famous daughter Lindsay.
“I have had a criminal order of protection from the domestic violence sector since 2005,” Dina told E! News. “He was not supposed to even be harassing me by phone.”
