Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry told a meeting of the Television Critics Association on Thursday that he plans to end the popular ABC soap after seven seasons. DH premieres it’s fifth season this Fall.
“I love working with these gals, but the idea of letting anyone else take the show from me kind of makes me sad and sick to my stomach,” Marc says. “We’re going to get out while people still like us.”

Is Eva Longoria planning to launch her own fashion line? According to FOX News, the Desperate Housewives beauty is developing a high-end clothing collection and has enlisted the advice of good friend-and fashion guru-Victoria Beckham for tips on making the line a success.

Adam and Steve should bow down and thank reality star Tila Tequila for their right to wed in the State of California. Tila, who has appeared in two installments of MTV’s bisexual dating competition A Shot At Love with Tila Tequila, credits the show with opening the door for legislation permitting gay marriage.
“It is because of me — I definitely think [my show] has helped the movement,” the Asian minx told Us Magazine at the Hollywood premiere of The Love Guru on Wednesday night.
“Before it came out, everyone was still a little apprehensive about [same sex relationships],” Tila explained. “Then they realized, ‘Wow, everyone is really into this stuff, and it is fine.’ The next thing you know, [gay marriage] is legal.”
