It’s not often that your husband’s first ex-wife is given custody of your children….while you are back in rehab.

Denise Richards, who has two biological children with ex-Charlie Sheen, is now caring for Charlie’s 4-year old twin sons, Bob and Max. Children’s services came knocking on the door with the twins, after Brooke’s behavior had become increasingly erratic.

According to sources close to Denise, this isn’t the first time the twins have been in Denise’s care. On multiple occasions, Denise has taken care of the boys previously. Denise Richards has been awarded temporary custody of Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen’s four-year-old twin boys, Bob and Max, after officals determined the boys were no longer safe in Brooke’s care. Mueller has been in and out of rehab for crack addiction for more than a decade.
