Demi Lovato performs her single “Get Back” on Ellen.
Disney singer-actress Demi Lovato promoted her debut album, Don’t Forget, with an afternoon performance and interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday. The rising teen star is enjoying Don’t Forget’s No. 2 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
Here’s a video from Demi’s appearance on today’s show.

Rising Disney starlet Demi Lovato will open up about the painful bullying that caused her to leave school a few years ago on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Demi, who hit the Teen Queen Scene after her performance in the movie musical Camp Rock last Summer, was teased so unmercifully as a seventh grader she left school in favor of home-schooling.
“I never really understood why [I was being bullied] until looking back,” Demi says. “I had a different lifestyle then everyone else.”
“I want to help with bullying, because there are girls who can’t just up and home-school and focus on their career.”

Demi Lovato’s Debut Album Don’t Forget
Every once in a while you have to bite your lip and admit that you were wrong. When I first heard about the fact that Camp Rock star Demi Lovato was putting out an album, I though for sure that it was going to be another bit of bland Disney Channel emptiness. I figured this review would be mostly negative. I was wrong.
While the album won’t fit everyone’s tastes, I have to admit: not only does Demi Lovato have amazing vocal talent (something Britney Spears never had) but she also knows how to create emotionally captivating music and just plain rock out. This is a really good album with rich and varied musical texture.

PopCrunch is continuing our look at the hottest new stars, and today we’re looking at pictures of Demi Lovato, star of Disney’s show Camp Rock. Lovato is already a big star among the younger crowd, but she’s about to expand her audience with a new album coming out September 23rd. She’s going to be huge, and we’ll keep adding pics to this space over time, so keep your eyes peeled. Enjoy.

Demi Lovato went head over heels (Literally!) during a performance a Jonas Brothers concert in Chi-Town on Sunday night.
The “Get Back” starlet was sprinting across stage, greeting a massive crowd of tweens, when she mysteriously hit the stage with a resounding thud. An embarrassed Demi required the assistance of two stagehands to collect herself. Luckily, she walked unscathed and everything appeared to be intact-except her dignity, of course.
It’s here. The official music video for Demi Lovato’s debut single, “Get Back,” was released on Friday. The rising Disney star is eagerly preparing for the release of her first album, Don’t Forget, in stores Sept 23.
