David (Insert Last Name Here) will be crowned the 2008 American Idol live from Hollywood’s Nokia Theater on Wednesday night. American Idol 7 finalists David Cook and David Archuleta hit the publicity circuit on Idol host Ryan Seacrest’s morning show On-Air With Ryan Seacrest before tonight’s big finale.
“We’re both so worn out,” seventeen year old judge favorite David Archuleta explained. “Both of our voices have been killing us… [We’ve had a lot] of rehearsing and talking and singing and interviews [and it] just takes a toll on your voice. But I was fortunate enough to be able to perform tonight.”

American Idol will crown it’s seventh victor on Wednesday night and producer of the hit FOX reality series have already taped a winner in Idol 7’s Battle of the Davids.
