On Wednesday night, American Idol Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta returned to the stage that made him a star for a live performance of his single “Touch My Hand.”
In other Idol news, Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were sent home as Disco Week drew to a close.
American Idol Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta is headed back to Idol just in time for Disco Week.
On Tuesday, April 21 the Top 7 finalists will perform songs from the disco era. The following Wednesday, David will take the stage to perform his new single, “A Little Too Not Over You,” live.
Disco stars “KC” Casey (of KC and the Sunshine Band), Thelma Houston, and Freda Payne will also be on-hand to perform a medley of their hit ’70s songs, “Get Down Tonight,” “Don’t Leave Me this Way,” and “Band of Gold.”
Demi Lovato and David Archuleta are set to hit the road together this summer. David, American Idol 7 runner-up, and Demi, star of Disney’s Sonny With A Chance, are teaming up for a 47-city tour of North America, which kicks off in Hartford, Conn., on June 21 and wraps up in Manchester, New Hampshire on August 24.

David Archuleta will perform The National Anthem at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii on February 8, last season’s American Idol runner-up announced on his MySpace blog on Thursday.
“I’ll be going to Hawaii to sing the National Anthem at the Pro Bowl, and it’ll be my first time in Hawaii! Woot woot!”
