Teen singing sensation David Archuleta has apologized to fans after heavy snowstorm forced him to axe a show in Minnesota. The ex-American Idol had been scheduled to perform at a concert in the Fitzgerald Auditorium in St. Paul on Tuesday, but had to cancel at the last-minute due to stormy weather.

In messages on his Twitter.com page, the 18 year old expressed his disappointment to fans: “NO! Just found out the show in Minnesota was cancelled from the weather! :( I’m so sorry you guys. I hope everyone is safe though! There’s a really bad snowstorm in the area that’s really dangerous on the road and for traveling. Might not make it safely.”
Life after Idol is looking a bit grim for Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta.

David, now 18, is considering putting his promising recording career on hold to care for his younger siblings as their parents battle it out in divorce court, sources close to the singer dish in the new edition of The National Enquirer.

Disney’s Miley Cyrus and American Idol alum David Archuleta have teamed up and lent their vocals to a duet premiering on Disney Radio this weekend.. The new jam “I Wanna Know You,” featuring Miley and Archie, will debut this Saturday, May 2 @ 6PM ET/3PM PT.
In June, David will hit the road with another Disney star, Sonny With A Chance’s Demi Lovato, for a two-month summer tour.
On Wednesday night, American Idol Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta returned to the stage that made him a star for a live performance of his single “Touch My Hand.”
In other Idol news, Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were sent home as Disco Week drew to a close.
