It’s those lack of receipts that have cost David his recording contract with Jive Records.

Hey Idol fans, do you still swoon whenever you hear babyfaced runner-up David Archuleta crooner?

On Thursday, Archuleta released a new music video for his single “Something ‘Bout Love!”

The track is the lead David’s third album, The Other Side of Down, available Oct. 5.

David Archuleta, the 19-year-old heartthrob named the “Best American Idol Ever” in a Billboard readers poll, has revealed the title and release date for his hotly-anticipated sophomore set.

The Other Side of Down debuts Sept. 14.

Archuleta’s new album is the follow-up to his 2008 self-titled debut, and disc of holiday covers, Christmas from the Heart, released in 2009.

On Tuesday, American Idol Season 7 finalist David Archuleta released his autobiography — Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance — a tale of the babyfaced heartthrob’s family life growing up in Utah and triumphant victory over the vocal paralysis that silenced his signature singing voice in 2004.

“I’m hoping that people will find things in common with me. I know I haven’t lived for the longest time, but I have learned things,” says Archie, 19.
