Chris Daughtry has revealed the twins he is expecting with wife Deanna are a boy and a girl.
In a video blog on Monday, the American Idol alum and frontman of the rock band Daughtry announced that the clan already have names picked out for the baby bundles — but they’re keeping those under their hats for now.
“Big news – Deanna and I are having a boy and a girl. We’re very excited about that. We do have names picked out but we’re going to keep them to ourselves until further notice….”
The couple announced the pregnancy in May. The twins — who are being carried by a surrogate — are due in November. Chris and Deanna are already parents to son Griffin and daughter Hannah.
Led by former American Idol star Chris Daughtry, popular rock band Daughtry smashed the stage with a performance of their single “Life After You” at the 2009 AMAs, airing live on ABC from the Nokia Theater in Hollywood Sunday night.
In case you haven’t seen it yet, award-winning rocker Chris Daughtry has taken “Best Lady Gaga Cover” honors for his adaptation of the singer’s hit single “Poker Face.”
The American Idol alum — a big Gaga fan — is seen here performing his acoustic version of the dance track on German radio July 2.
Daughtry’s new album, Leave This Town, is in stores now.
