Don’t let the diminutive stature fool you — Danny DeVito’s a bigger catch than you think.

Try this on for size: Universal Pictures has hit the greenlight on a follow-up to Twins, a box office blockbuster for the studio way back in 1988. The long-awaited sequel, tentatively titled Triplets, will feature almost Oscar host Eddie Murphy as the third brother to Julius (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Vincent (Danny DeVito) — a pair of unlikely brothers experimentally conceived before being separated at birth.

A newly-blond Danny DeVito made an appearance on “The View” on Tuesday, and he had some X-rated advice for Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar, both of whom got married over the summer.

Diminutive comedian Danny DeVito — best known for his work on the TV sitcom Taxi, as well as in the films One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Tin Men, Twins, and Batman Returns –
will be honored as the first recipient of the Critics’ Choice Television Icon Award.
