It looks like Criss Angel isn’t sticking his magic stick in Britney Spears after all. According to BreatheHeavy.com, Britney is collaborating with the famed magic man on her upcoming MTV Video Music Awards opener.(A story we covered in mid-July before E! picked it up as their own.). Perhaps he can make her disappear?

Thirty-nine year-old womanizing magic man Criss Angel, romantically linked to Cameron Diaz, was spotted escorting Britney Spears inside the Tower Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday night. The pair reportedly held hands and made their way to a suite on the eleventh floor.

Divorcing Criss Angel spent the weekend partying at Las Vegas’ Pure Nightclub in the company of recently rehabbed Lindsay Lohan and her alcohol-resistant ankle bracelet.
