Real life couple David Arquette and Courteney Cox will face a killer for a fourth time!
The husband and wife acting duo will reprise their roles as Deputy Dewey Riley and pitbull newswoman Gale Weathers in the upcoming slasher flick Scream 4, David has revealed.
“We are going to be doing ‘Scream 4,’” the actor told E! Online’s Marc Malkin during a Feeding America charity campaign in New York City on Tuesday,.
“I fell in love with my wife on ‘Scream,’ so the opportunity to bring [Deputy Dewey Riley] back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, it’s just going to be really fun,” David said. “It’s just great.”
He added, “Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct.”
Although Williamson recently said Neve Campbell — series heroine Sindey Prescott — is not on board for the next installment, David is still hopeful that she’ll reprise her role.
“I hope Neve does it,” he said. “I really hope so.”

The former Friends star was left seething after a group of teenage girls mistook her for the super bitchy catwalk creature on the Seal Beach, California set of her upcoming series, Cougar Town.
Star writes: “A group of teenagers approached Courteney between takes and asked her about America’s Next Top Model” says the source. Janice, 54, used to appear on the show as a judge. “She was pretty upset and coolly told the girls they had the wrong person!”
A shaken Courteney immediately phoned her husband, David Arquette, for reassurance that she is much prettier than the 54-year-old former model.

Courteney is convinced Friends: The Movie would be a smash after watching the box office success of this Summer’s Sex And The City. Former Friends stars David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc are reportedly keen on the idea; only actress Jennifer Aniston, who hit worldwide fame for her role as “Rachael” on the NBC Thursday night sitcom, is still holding out.
