This month’s Cosmopolitan features a smoldering Dakota Fanning and a bit of controversy. It seems model Nicole Weider began a campaign in August 2010 to ensure the magazine’s racy headlines are kept out of sight from people under 18 and anyone else who finds the “explicit” and “pornographic” content buried beneath a non-translucent cover. If “Ways to Seduce Your Man” and “Ways To Trim Your Tummy” is not on your list of priorities, chances are you’re among the ranks of 10,000 petitioners supporting the move to get Cosmo out of your face in the checkout line.
Cosmo publishers, reps, and spokespeople have not responded with comments in response to requests from FOX News and other media outlets. What do you think? Nearly everyone waiting in line at the supermarket has noticed the flashy covers and suggestive wording of any Cosmopolitan magazine but should Cosmo be kept under wraps?
Singer Adele gets glam on the year end issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine, on newsstands Nov. 8. In a chat with the femme-friendly mag, the British songbird talks record deals, ex-boyfriends (Yep, “Rolling in the Deep” was inspired by one…), and her all-time favorite singers.
