On Wednesday, former Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien ended months of useless speculation Tuesday and officially released the name of his new TBS show: Conan.
“It’s ‘Conan,’ simple, pure, like the guy himself,” the comic behind “The Masturbating Bear” and other classic knee-slapping bits announces in a newly-released YouTube.com video. “I’m just using ‘Conan’ and dropping the ‘O’Brien’ because I want to get away from the whole Irish thing,” he cracked.

O’Brien will return to the tube for the first time since his bitter fallout with NBC last February when Conan hits TBS late-night Nov. 8 (11PM ET/PT).
Now if we can only do something about that beard……
