Kate O’Brien’s ready for her closeup! The sister of late night host Conan O’Brien is getting some recognition for her role in The Fighter.

Kate makes her acting debut as Phyllis “Beaver” Eklund, one of seven loose-lipped sisters in the Golden Globe-nominated boxing drama — which boasts a star-studded cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, and Amy Adams.

Conan O’Brien has been welcomed back to television by more than 4.1 million viewers.

Conan O’Brien’s new 60-minute basic cable series Conan won’t debut until next week, but on Wednesday night, the former host of NBC’s Tonight Show tested out his new digs on TBS with an impromptu appearance on Lopez Tonight.

The George Lopez-helmed program will be permanently bumped to midnight next week to accommodate the debut of Conan.

Conan returns to late-night Monday Nov. 8 @ 11 PM on TBS.
