Keep your eyes peeled to the tube, TV Fanatics: You may just catch Conan O’Brien making a cameo appearance on an episode of the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother when the show returns for a sixth season this fall. The ginger-headed late night wisecracker entered the winning bid for a walk-on role on HIMYM at a charity auction this month.

Another score for Team Coco: Funny guy Conan O’Brien delivered the Commencement Address at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire on Sunday. The former host of The Tonight Show received an honorary Doctor of Arts degree from the prestigious school, which awarded 1782 degrees, both undergraduate and graduate, during the ceremony. Joining Conan as honorary degree recipients were actress Ruby Dee, Dartmouth College President Jim Yong Kim, and wheelchair-bound former US President George H.W. Bush.

A newly-clean shaven Conan O’Brien will serve up zingers and one-liners with a splash of life lessons as the keynote speaker at the Darthmouth College commencement ceremony next month.
Dartmouth’s Student Body President Eric Tanner made the announcement in a video message this week.
