Introducing Dr. StrangeSheen: Charlie Sheen, who’s back in the headlines after rendevouzing with ex-wife Brooke Mueller over the weekend, re-enacts a seen from Dr. Strangelove in the first promo for his quickly-approaching Comedy Central roast.

The actors storied history with drugs, jail, and loaded handguns will be likely fodder when The Roast of Charlie Sheen, hosted by Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane, premieres Sept. 19 @ 10 PM.

Back to his Old Stompin’ Ground: Saturday Night Live alum Jimmy Fallon will host the sketch comedy classic for the very first time on Dec. 17, NBC said Monday.

“I’ve never forgotten where I came from,” Fallon joked this week. “That’s why I’m so incredibly honored to be hosting the Saturday Night Times program December 17th on HGTV.”

The current host of The Peacock’s Late Night will be joined by musical guest Michael Buble.

Late night host David Letterman returned from two weeks of vacation on Monday to make his first TV appearance since a death threat against him was posted on a jihadist website last week.

Naturally, the Late Show host — who has been the subject of beefed-up security measures at New York’s Ed Sullivan Theatre — played up the threat against his life as fodder for his opening monologue.
