New Coldplay “Viva La Vida” Tour Dates

A “production delay” has caused Coldplay to delay the start of it’s Viva La Vida North American Tour, originally scheduled to open in Philadelphia on June 29th, by two weeks. But Chris Martin and the guys want their fans to know that they’ll still be hitting the stage in support of their fourth album, Viva La Vida. Coldplay Tour Postponed: New Coldplay Tour Dates

Coldplay has been forced to postpone the start of its North American tour by two weeks due to unspecified “production delays.” The tour in support of the band’s forthcoming fourth LP Viva La Vida was scheduled to launch in Philadelphia on June 29th. Coldplay will now hit the road with a stint in the City of Angels July 14th-15th. It will close August 4th in Boston. Tickets for the original dates will be valid for the new ones. Refunds are also available at points of purchase.

An updated itinerary is posted on the band’s Web site.
