The former American Idol finalist — currently on tour with bestie Taylor Swift — has revealed that she has a megacrush on critically-acclaimed screen legend Clint Eastwood.

Kellie made the confession during an interview with country music website The Boot, after she was asked the celebrity whose cell phone number she wishes she had.

“Clint Eastwood’s! I’m in love with Clint Eastwood,” she gushed. “I don’t care [that he’s older]. He is the man! I just think he’s awesome. I love all his movies. He’s an incredible director. I’m a huge fan.”

The two legendary film directors are squabbling over Spike’s claim that there are too few African-American actors in Clint’s award-winning films. The Mo’ Better Blues director made headlines when he publicly chided Clint on the slight during a Cannes Film Festival red carpet interview last month.

“That was his version. The Negro version did not exist,” said Lee. “He did two films about Iwo Jima back to back and there was not one black soldier in both of those films…..Many veterans, African-Americans, who survived that war are upset at Clint Eastwood. In his vision of Iwo Jima, Negro soldiers did not exist. Simple as that. I have a different version.”

Clint tells The Guardian newspaper his 2006 film Flags of Our Fathers was historically accurate because Black troops were not involved in raising the flag at Iwo Jima.

“The story is Flags of Our Fathers, the famous flag-raising picture, and they didn’t do that. It’s not accurate….If I go ahead and put an African American actor in there, they’d say ‘This guy’s lost his mind,’” Clint fumed. “A guy like him should shut his face.”

Lindsay Lohan has pissed off yet another Hollywood legend. Clint Eastwood was left livid last night after Lohan and an entourage of four disturbed his meal at Madeo Restaurant in Los Angeles by inviting a snapping crew of paparazzi.

“I heard him tell his friend, ‘She brought all those paparazzi. Fifteen of them. Did you ever think we’d see the day with all this? I’m going out the back door so I don’t have to deal with all that,” a witness tells OK! Magazine.
