Former supermodel Cindy Crawford opens up about the pressures of aging gracefully on the pages of the September issue of Redbook.
“I have cellulite,” the ’90s It Girl confesses.
“I admit it. But sometimes I just say, ‘Screw it, I am going to wear a bikini. I think I look good for my age. I am not 25; I am 43. At 43, supermodel mom Cindy Crawford defies Mother Nature in the April 2009 issue of Allure. The mother of two stripped down to her birthday suit and lathered up in shaving cream to show us twenty-somethings how it’s done as part of the mag’s annual Anti-Aging Edition.
“…My hands and my decollete. In LA, there are 65-year-old women walking around in Juicy sweatpants, and from the back, you’d think they were 20. But when you see their hands or their neck, you know.”
“I just embrace where I am today. I think I look pretty good for 43,” she tells the publication. “But I don’t look the way I did when I was 23. … I’ve had two kids, and I’m 43, so leave me alone.”
Cindy Crawford has denied a recent report claiming she banned her children from watching Disney’s Hannah Montana after the popular series made her 7-year-old daughter, Kaya, “too sassy.”
“She is a fan of ‘Hannah Montana,’” a rep for the supermodel mom said Thursday. “And she has taken her daughter to multiple shows.”
Former supermodel Cindy Crawford has banned her young daughter from watching Miley Cyrus’ hit Disney series Hannah Montana, because it teaches the 7-year-old to talk back.
“I love Hannah Montana, but she (daughter Kaya) learns to be sassy from that show. I’ll say to her, ‘I don’t let anyone talk to me like that. I’ll certainly not take it from a seven year old in my own house.’”
