Edis Kayalar, of Germany, was charged with trying to extort $100,000 from former supermodel Cindy Crawford and her entrepreneur husband Rande Gerber over a photo of their then 7-year-old daughter bound to a chair and gagged, The Department of Justice said Thursday.
The daughter told her parents, who were unaware of the photo, that the nanny took the picture as part of a “cops and robbers” game, according to an affidavit.

At 43, supermodel mom Cindy Crawford defies Mother Nature in the April 2009 issue of Allure. The mother of two stripped down to her birthday suit and lathered up in shaving cream to show us twenty-somethings how it’s done as part of the mag’s annual Anti-Aging Edition.
“…My hands and my decollete. In LA, there are 65-year-old women walking around in Juicy sweatpants, and from the back, you’d think they were 20. But when you see their hands or their neck, you know.”
“I just embrace where I am today. I think I look pretty good for 43,” she tells the publication. “But I don’t look the way I did when I was 23. … I’ve had two kids, and I’m 43, so leave me alone.”
