Congrats to Christina Milian and her husband The-Dream (real name Terius Nash) — the newlyweds welcomed their first daughter last week. The singer-actress delivered a healthy daughter Violet, with “a full head of head,” on Feb. 26, a friend of the couple confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday.

This is the first child for Christina, 28, and the fourth for the Grammy-winner singer/songwriter/record producer, 31, who has three children (a four-year-old daughter and three-year-old twin sons) with his ex-wife, R&B singer Nivea.

The couple wed in September. Milian announced her pregnancy just weeks after secretly eloping with The-Dream in Las Vegas.

Christina Milian is four-and-a-half months pregnant, the singer confirmed to PEOPLE as she celebrated her 28th birthday at the MGM Grand’s Tabu Lounge in Las Vegas on Friday night.

The “Dip It Low” singer eloped with hip-hop musician-producer The-Dream in Sin City last month.

“My husband and I are expecting,” she said, showing off a baby bump under a loose green dress, topped off with silver accessories. “We’re really excited.”

Less than two months after the 27-year-old “Dip It Low” star confirmed her engagement to the father of three, the two wed as the clock struck midnight Friday morning in a private ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas –the same spot where Britney Spears married childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander in 2004.

Christina — who previously dated hip-hop producer Dre and actor Nick Cannon — is reportedly pregnant with the couple’s first child together. The-Dream was previously wed to R&B singer Nivea.
