Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard — who won as an Oscar for her role as Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose — has landed a glamorous new gig as the ad campaign spokesmodel for the newest collection of Lady Dior Handbags.

The Alfred-Hitchcock-inspired short film features the French actress in the middle of a police investigation that leads her through Paris’s winding streets to the Eiffel Tower.

Check out this preview, before the full film premieres on May 20.

Oscar-winning French actress Marion Cotillard has been selected to front the Spring/Summer 2009 print promotional campaign in support of Christian Dior’s Lady Dior handbag collection.

This, the first of four ad Marion shot for the fashion house, features the film star perche atop the Eiffel Tower clutching the a bag from the most recent Lady Dior collection.

Marion’s Lady Dior ad campaign will debut on the pages of fashion mags in January.
