A former member of the ’80s R&B/pop trio The Pointer Sisters will join Tila Tequila, former Playboy Playmate Shauna Sand, and rapper Bizzy Bone on the currently-stalled fourth season of VH1′s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
Bonnie Pointer — who helped provide the soundtrack to the ’80s with hits like “Slow Hand,” “I’m So Excited,” and “Jump” — has signed up for a season of detoxing with celebrity substance abuse counselor Dr. Drew Pinsky at the bespectacled star’s Pasadena Recovery Center.
In a last ditch effort to salvage its ratings winning reality soap, Celebrity Rehab, VH1 reportedly offered showbiz legend Liza Minnelli a six-figure deal to lead the show’s ill-fated fourth season.
