The 22-year-old’s well-documented troubles with drugs and alcohol spurred Dr. Drew to comment on the actress in last week’s issue of Parade Magazine – much to Lindsay’s chagrin.

“I’m really convinced that something horrible is going to have to happen to her before she really gets over it and embraces sobriety,” Drew said of Lindsay. “She needs to give it up. And it’s going to be a while before she does. I have this image that she’s going to lose a limb or something before she does.”

Lindsay later hit back at the television doc with a short blurp on her Twitter page.

Troubled actor Tom Sizemore is heading back to reality show rehab after his most recent drug bust — and he’ll be coming face-to-face with former girlfriend, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

Tom was convicted of assaulting Heidi in 2003.

The Saving Private Ryan star has struggled with substance abuse problems for several years and was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Hollywood last Thursday, at which point he was found to be in possession of narcotics.

A source tells RadarOnline.com, “(Tom) showed up wasted yesterday at the Pasadena Recovery Center and was put in ‘lock down’ for serious withdrawals.

“Heidi… went straight to her room and didn’t comment.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, celebrities joining Season 3 of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab include ’70s child star Mackenzie Phillips, former NBA player Dennis Rodman, suicidal country singer Mindy McCready, actor Mike Starr, Real World: Hollywood cast member Joey Kovar, America’s Next Top Model contestant Lisa D’Amato, former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche, and former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

Season 3 of Celebrity Rehab will premiere on VH1 this summer.

The spinoff’s cast will feature Steven Adler, Seth “Shifty” Binzer, Marey Carey, Rodney King, Nikki McKibbin, Amber Smith, and Andy Dick.

During an interview with The TODAY Show Tuesday, Dr. Drew Pinsky chatted about the second season of his VH1 reality series, Celebrity Rehab, which helps Z-list celebrities battle substance abuse addiction.

Oh Good Grief! VH1 is considering launching a spinoff of its substance abuse reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. The new show, working under the title Sober Living, would place alumni from the first season of Celebrity Rehab together in a Beverly Hills mansion for one month as cameras follow their first struggles at living free of addiction.

Filming on the show could begin as early as next week, although VH1 has yet to give the project a thumbs up, according to the New York Post.

Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler, model/actress Amber Smith and last season’s resident, Seth “Shifty” Binzer the lead singer of the rock band, Crazytown are the first former Rehabbers approached to appear on the possible spinoff.

Odd and out-of-work actor Gary Busey has joined the cast of Celebrity Rehab 2 on VH1, which kicked off filming on Monday. Gary, who has been sober for thirteen years, will be on-hand to guide this year’s group through their struggle toward a clean lifestyle.

And speaking of this season’s group, the latest low-level celebrity circus will feature actor and Celebrity Rehab I alum Jeff Conaway, American Idol Season One Top Three finalist Nikki McKibbon, ’80s-era model-actress Amber Smith, former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler, Sean Stewart, son of rock legend Rod Stewart, and Rodney King, whose brutal 1991 beating at the hands of four LAPD officers sparked the 1992 L.A Riots.

Celebrity Rehab 2, starring resident addictionologist Dr. Drew Pinsky, premieres on VH1 in October.

Jessica Sierra wants another round of Celebrity Rehab. Troubled singer Sierra wants to apppear on the forthcoming second season of the VH1 reality series, which stars low-level celebs battling addiction, but she’ll need permission from the State of Florida to do it.

Celebrity Rehab host Dr. Drew will accompany lawyers for the drug-addicted former American Idol as they attend a hearing to lift a court-orderd media ban before Circuit Judge Greg Holder in Tampa Bay Circuit Court on Thursday.

Jessica is eager to continue strengthing her sobriety alongside former child star Aaron Carter and Sean Stewart, spawn of rock legend Rod Stewart, who are already on-board for the second season of the reality hit.

It will be up to Judge Holder to decide whether or not to lift a media ban ordering Jessica to stay at least 100 yards from microphones and cameras. The ban was put in place by Circuit Judge Thomas Perry, who order Jessica to become more focused on staying clean after the twenty-two year old was arrested on a string of felony drug and assault charges.

Jessica’s attorney, John Fitzgibbons, has filed papers requesting the media ban by lifted, Tampa Bay Online reports.

Drug-addicted former teen icon Aaron Carter will join the cast of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew when the hit reality drama returns for a second season on VH1 this Fall.

“Aaron has a terrible marijuana problem, and he’s no longer being offered much work. At least by appearing on VH1, he will be back in the spotlight and get used to being in front of the camera again. And hopefully he can get sober at the same time,” an unnamed spy spilled to The National Enquirer.

“He made good money as a teenager, and when he turned 18, he got access to $2.7 million- before he knew it, it quickly was being whittled away.”

Aaron will join a cast including former Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss and rocker Sebastian Bach.

Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, was arrested on Possession of Marijuana charges in February. The twenty year old former child star has been in showbusiness since age seven.
