Fleetwood Mac fans could be shedding a small tear this morning. Guitarist for the band from 1972-1974, Bob Weston has died, at his London home.

Local police aren’t calling the death suspicious, it appears that Weston died from natural causes. Weston joined Fleetwood Mac as a replacement for troubled young guitarist Danny Kirwan in 1972 but left the band just under 2 years later after fellow members exposed his affair with Fleetwood’s wife, Jenny Boyd.

So fans who are reading the headline…no it’s not Lindsay Buckingham. Weston’s brother Peter told a UK Paper, “He was a lovely, gentle bloke. It’s a shock. He’d everything to live for.”

Rest in Peace, Bob Weston.
