“She’s got an engagement ring,” a spy tells People Magazine. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

The young couple are negoitiating with real estate agents to purchase a $300,000 home in a gated community in Macomb, Mississippi home. The ranch-style house is equipped with a two-car garage, large kitchen, a family room with a fireplace, and approximately three bedrooms. Twenty minutes outside Jamie Lynn’s hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, the home is close to shopping and a hospital.

Sixteen year old mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears has purchased a new truck for boyfriend Casey Aldridge, so that can drive her and their baby around without looking like a bum. The couple were spotted shopping for used vehicles on a lot in Tupelo, Mississippi earlier this month, before settling on a white Nissan truck with a trailer hitch, Life & Style Magazine reports. Car salesman Mitch Savery says: “Their main concern was having a safe car with power. They were planning on using it for fishing trips.”
