Country music superstars Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Darius Rucker will each give a performance on The Oprah Winfrey Show next Tuesday, April 14.
“It’s really strange. I mean, you’re under a microscope, and even if you start — you’re getting to know somebody, you just met them — they have you married off next week, you know what I mean? So it’s a little difficult and it’s a little difficult to know people’s intentions, I think,” Carrie said of dating in the public during her post-performance interview with Oprah.

It was a big night for former American Idol Carrie Underwood at Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards. The country cutie accepted trophies for Top Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year, ending Kenny Chesney’s streak of taking home the Entertainer of the Year award four years in a row.

Joined by country music hitmaker Randy Travis, American Idol 4 champ Carrie Underwood returned to the Idol stage on Wednesday night to turn in a live performance of the single “I Told You So.”
American Idol’s Season 4 champ will return to the Idol stage for a performance on Wednesday, March 18.
