
Carrie Underwood has extended her Carnival Ride North American Tour through this Fall. The tour is in support of Carrie’s double-platinum-selling 2007 LP, Carnival Ride, which has spawned the chart-topping tracks “So Small” and “All-American Girl.” The “Last Name” hitmaker wraps up the current leg of the Carnival Ride Tour June 24th. She will swing through fifty-one cities in the U.S and Canada when Carnival Ride’s added shows kick off September 23rd. Tickets go on sale June 20th.

Carrie, who won American Idol in 2005, has gone on to win several Grammy, American Music, and Country Music Association awards, following the release of her platinum-selling albums, Some Hearts and Carnival Ride. Carrie was voted the most popular Idol by fifty-four percent of the voters polled Kelly Clarkson, who won the first season of Idol in 2002, came in a distant second with twenty-six percent of votes.
