NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon will introduce Carrie Underworm to the world on an episode of the classic children’s program airing this Thursday, Feb. 11. Ms. Underworm will reappear on the series March 17, April 8, and April 26, according to CMT.com. Here’s a sneak peek:

Carrie Underwood has been cast to appear alongside Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, and AnnaSophia Robb in the upcoming movie Soul Surfer, based on the life of Bethany Hamilton — the Hawaiian girl who lost her arm in a shark attack several years ago.

According to Variety, Bethany will be played by AnnaSophia, with Helen and Dennis cast as her parents. The recently-engaged Carrie will portray a youth leader at a church. Filming is currently underway in Hawaii. The film is expected to debut later this year.
