Carrie Underwood has joined Vitaminwater’s arsenal of celebrity endorsers. The former American Idol taped her first TV commercial, in which she plays an astronaut with rapper 50 Cent, on-location in Newark, NJ last week. Carrie’s Vitaminwater promotional campaign will debut in mid-June. Carrie will also be designing a limited edition Vitaminwater bottle label.

Country music star Carrie Underwood performed her track “All-American Girl” at the Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus-hosted 2008 CMT Awards on Monday night.

Carrie Underwood will become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry on May 10th. The former American Idol winner was invited to join the longest continuously running radio show in America by Opry member Randy Travis on Saturday.
