Candy Spelling has famously refused appear on daughter Tori Spelling’s unscripted Oxygen series, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and even referred to the 35-year-old as an “aging reality star.”

But that doesn’t mean the one-time trophy wife of legendary TV mogul Aaron Spelling won’t star in a TV show of her own.

In an interview with RadarOnline, Candy reveals that she is working on a new scripted small screen series.

Candy Spelling has reignited her feud with estranged daughter Tori Spelling by emailing a bizarre rant about the 35-year-old reality star to a celebrity gossip website.

On Sunday, the former trophy wife sent in a wordy rant to TMZ.com, taking a swipe at Tori’s recent dramatization of their troubled relationship on her Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

Tori Spelling’s estranged mom could soon give the mother of two some competition on the small screen. Donald Trump is in negotiations to have former trophy wife Candy Spelling, 63, appear on the upcoming third season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.

Star Magazine is reporting that the widow of late television mogul Aaron Spelling will square off against former Dynasty vixen Joan Collins when the show returns to the air this fall.

“Candy and Donald are old friends,” says a source close to the Candyland author.

Candy & Tori….The Saga Continues….These two are going to find themselves the subject of a made-for-TV movie someday.

Candy Spelling showed us how not to reconcile with an estranged family member during an interview on Massachusetts radio station this morning. The former trophy bride made shocking statements against her 35-year-old daughter, Tori, during a chat with 94.7 WMAS’ Kellogg Crew on Thursday.

Candy alleges that Tori’s estrangement from her family “killed” her late father, television mogul Aaron Spelling.

Candy says one day her daughter stopped speaking to the family and she doesn’t know “where the anger came from.”

“It was sad,” Candy said. “That’s what killed my husband [Aaron]. He just didn’t want to live after that.”

“He’d done everything he could possibly do for his daughter and then she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”

“I’ve always been trying to work on the relationship,” she added.
