Star Magazine is reporting that the widow of late television mogul Aaron Spelling will square off against former Dynasty vixen Joan Collins when the show returns to the air this fall.

Candy Spelling showed us how not to reconcile with an estranged family member during an interview on Massachusetts radio station this morning. The former trophy bride made shocking statements against her 35-year-old daughter, Tori, during a chat with 94.7 WMAS’ Kellogg Crew on Thursday.
Candy alleges that Tori’s estrangement from her family “killed” her late father, television mogul Aaron Spelling.
Candy says one day her daughter stopped speaking to the family and she doesn’t know “where the anger came from.”
“It was sad,” Candy said. “That’s what killed my husband [Aaron]. He just didn’t want to live after that.”
“He’d done everything he could possibly do for his daughter and then she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”
“I’ve always been trying to work on the relationship,” she added.
Candy Spelling is desperate to end her long-running feud with her daughter Tori. The pair has been at odds since the former 90210 star revealed that she practically disinherited following the death of her father, television mogul Aaron Spelling, in 2006.
In her latest attempt to patch things up, Candy recently reached out to Tori in an e-mail proposing “mother-daughter” therapy sessions as a last ditch effort mend their dysfunctional relationship, The National Enquirer claims.
On Tuesday, Hollywood socialite Candy Spelling dropped by The View to promote her recently-released memoir, Stories of Candyland, but the conversation quickly turned to Candy’s relationship (or lack thereof) with her estranged daughter, Tori.
